Alright kids, it’s that time again, where I show you all some of my favorite creepy stories. These stories were all collected from the NoSleep Reddit page and the Creepy Pasta wiki, two of my favorite places to discover original and terrifying stories. So let’s dim the lights, grab your favorite blanket and gather round the campfire because here are ten more creepy tales for you to enjoy.

1.      The Disappearance of Ashley, Kansas. This is the story of how the entire town of Ashley, Kansas vanished, leaving nothing behind but a fissure of ash. The residents, the houses, everything- all gone without a trace. If you’re a fan of listening to stories, I recommend listening to the narration of this story on the NoSleep Podcast. It definitely adds an eerie feel.

2.      Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid. This is the story of a man trying to recall parts of his childhood after realizing that he has no recollection of anything from when he was younger. When asking his mother to help him remember, things take a turn for the worse. In this case, some things are definitely better off being forgotten.

3.      Mr. Wide Mouth. In this story, a young boy creates an imaginary friend to help him cope after experiencing a traumatic event. What starts out as something innocent soon becomes something a lot more sinister.

4.      A Story to Scare My Son. As a kid, my mom and aunt were huge fans of telling my cousins and I cautionary tales to scare us into behaving. Although many of the stories were scary, none of them were as scary as the story this father tells his son.

5.      Pete the Moonshiner. Please. Just read this. Very unsettling. Trigger warning.

6.      Room 733. Almost every campus has a creepy story that comes with it. For me, there was the haunted room at the end of my sorority floor, along with a haunted art building on campus. In this story, a girl learns that the dorm room next to hers is known as the “Suicide Room,” after have many students commit suicide after living in the room for a short time. Trigger warning for those sensitive to this subject.

7.      My Ex Wouldn’t Stop Texting Me. Sometimes a wrong number can be a life or death situation.

8.      630-296-7536. This story is even scarier after you realize the number in this tale actually works. Go ahead, give it a call.

9.      The Disappearance of Ashley Morgan. Not to be confused with the first story in this list. This is the story of a girl whose twin sister went missing when they were kids. Trigger warning.

10.  HowMy Family Got Through the Recession. How far would you go to provide for your family?

There you have it, ten more creepy stories to read tonight. If you have any creepy tales you’d like to share leave them in the comments.
Hello boils and ghouls, it’s the most wonderful time of the year! October is my favorite month, the weather gets colder, the leaves change, and everything gets scarier. In honor of my favorite time of the year, we’re going to spook things up here. To kick it off, we’re going to discuss my favorite creepy kids in films. There’s nothing like taking something cute and turning it into a little monster.
Let’s get started.

1.      Children of the Corn

This is one of my favorite films, and one of my favorite short stories from Stephen King. In the film, these kids slaughtered the adults and began to run the town themselves. The most vicious of the children is their leader Isaac, who vows to keep them in line while preaching the things he learns from “He Who Walks Behind the Rows”. His right-hand man, Malachi, who’s the muscle, helps him keep things running smooth. My favorite scene is the one where he has Linda by the face, dragging her through the streets yelling "Outlander"- classic. These brainwashed, little murders are the reason I would never want to get lost in a corn field. Fun fact: my first imaginary friends were Isaac and Malachi.

2.      Samara Morgan (The Ring)

The Ring was a film that genuinely freaked me out when I first saw it. Mainly because of the decrepit little girl that crawls out of the freaking TV to murder you. Samara seemed like this tortured soul that just wanted to be loved, too bad she literally just wanted to hurt people for funsies. If her name pops up on my phone, better believe she’s getting blocked.

3.      Gage Creed (Pet Semetary)

Another favorite from Stephen King. Poor little Gage didn’t ask to become a soulless demon hell-bent on killing, it just kinda happened. Death does strange things to people, and when Gage was killed it destroyed his father, so he buried him in the "pet semetary" but the thing that returned, wasn’t his bundle of joy. Going around and slicing tendons, trying to kill his parents, that’s at least an hour in the time out chair.

4.      Ester (Orphan)

At first, you’re thinking this is just a kid with some anger issues. Maybe it’s from her mysterious past, or maybe she’s just a 30 year old passing off as a kid. Either way, she was a terror on the playground, although, that kid totally had it coming.  Trying to kill her new brother, manipulating her deaf sister, and killing nuns weren’t even the creepiest things she did. It wasn’t until she tried seducing the husband that it got weird.

5.      Damien (The Omen)

The name Damien was forever changed for me thanks to this film. Having a creepy kid is one thing, having the literal Antichrist is another. His nanny commits suicide for him, a priest tries to warn the family of what he truly is and gets impaled by a lightning rod, and of course- trying to kill his mom still wasn’t enough for the dad to believe little Damien was the spawn of Satan.

6.      The white-haired children (Village of the Damned)

The fact that nobody really questioned why there was a mass pregnancy or the fact that all of the children born that day all looked similar- is beyond me. They each have light blonde hair, pale skin and glowing eyes, totally normal. They’re all telepathically linked with one another and have the power to control the actions of others, allowing them to cause the deaths of anyone that gets in their way. #SquadGoals

7.      Henry (The Good Son)

Not a horror film, but I still wouldn’t want Henry as a son. Now we know why he got left home alone all of the time. This kid is a master manipulator and has all of the qualities of a serial killer in the making. Killing small animals, causing huge car crashes, hurting his little sister, being a pathological liar, and it brings him such joy.

8.      Alice (Alice Sweet Alice)

What do you do when your annoyingly cute little sister gets everything? Kill her of course! Alice was tired of always being second to little Karen, so on the day of her communion, she offs her and goes through the ceremony herself. More people begin to die and all fingers point to Alice. Her mask that she’s so fond of is what makes it even creepier, ugh.

9.      The Children

It’s Christmas but these kids have much more than presents on their minds. They develop the desire to just slaughter all of the adults in gruesome ways. Just for…being adults? The kids go from sweet and innocent to little killing machines, making them even creepier. They’re definitely getting coal in their stockings.

10.  The Grady Twins (The Shinning)

Like…all I’m saying is that I’m not trying to run into them in any hallway. Ever.

11.  The Brood

Deformed, demon-like children, hell-bent on killing, aka mommy’s little helpers. The “children” are created when Nova, a deranged woman undergoes psychoplasmics. They are an extension of her anger and misfortune and they kill anyone that’s ever wronged her. Her grandmother, her ex husband, a former teacher all end up dead. Basically, if you’ve ever wronged their mother, it might be time to make amends.

12.  Carol Anne (Poltergiest)

Carol Anne didn’t ask for any of this. She didn’t tell her parents to move on top of an old Indian cemetery or to get captured by the spirits in their house, it just happened. Carol Anne casually talking to the things in their house and announcing their arrival with the simple phrase “they’re here,” is what makes her perfect for this list. The rest of the events, make the film just creepy in general.

13.  Reagan (The Exorcist)

Saving my favorite for last. Reagan was an innocent child, who ended up being one of the creepiest kids ever because she was possessed by a demon. Defiling her body with crucifixes, vomiting on priests, saying charming phrases like “your mother sucks c*cks in hell”, so cute. It’s all fun and games until your head spins around.

Alright guys, there’s my top favorite creepy kids in films! What are some of your favorites?

Hello all!

Now, one of my favorite things to do is explore the internet for creepy things. I usually find myself doing this around 3 a.m. when I’m alone in my room and then I regret everything. One of my favorite places to find creepy things is on the tumblr account, Sixpenceee. This girl has everything to satisfy your creepy needs and I’m obsessed. Her blog has everything from creepy stories, how to summon the dead, short horror films and documentaries, creepy findings on the internet, world findings and psychology based things. It’s pretty awesome.

Today I’m going to share a few of my favorite creepy stories that I’ve found either on my own or from Sixpenceee. Some of them are Creepy Pastas, stories hailing from the Reddit sub-pages “No Sleep” and “Let’s Not Meet,” and more.

1.      The Soul Game- This story comes from a mother asking for help for her son who recently came home with a new friend. His new friend introduced him to The Soul Game, something that was very alarming to the mother. I was insanely paranoid after finishing this one.

2.      Dead Girlfriend Keeps Messaging Me, I have theScreenshots to Prove It- This one reminded me of old stories about the dead calling loved ones on the phone, which was both an episode of The Twilight Zone and a true event. This story took those old stories and brought it into the digital age with this guy’s dead girlfriend messaging him on Facebook. It’s an interesting read.

3.      Annie96 is typing…- This is an interactive story where it allows you to follow the instant messages between a girl and a guy while she’s home alone and sees a figure outside her window. There’s a bit of a twist in the end. I love interactive stories so if you do as well, you’ll enjoy this.

4.      Dr. Ramsey- This story comes from the Reddit subpage “Let’s Not Meet,” which has people recalling events of being stalked, creepy encounters with strangers and more. These types of stories are so much more terrifying than ghosts and ghouls because the world is full of crazies, Dr. Ramsey being one of them. Just…just read this.

5.      Besty The Doll- This is a story that really stayed with me after I read it. I don’t want to give anything away but it’s definitely worth a look. It was so much more than what I thought it was going to be.

6.      Candle Cove- This is one of my favorite Creepy Pastas. This is about a guy that goes to a message board trying to find out information on a rather creepy show he used to watch as a kid. After discussing the show they find an unsettling discovery.

7.      Stranger under the Bed- Y’all…this story freaked me out so bad that I literally have to check under my beds after I return my dorm. This is my worst fears come to life. It’s another Let’s Not Meet story.

8.      Roommate Wanted- Female Only. Nope. Nope. Nope. Always bring someone with you when answering ads.

9.      Hide and Seek with a Possessed Doll- Another favorite of mine. This is less of a story and more of a ritual on how to summon a demon to possess a doll and have it pursue you in a game of hide and seek. Some have reported weird things happening after performing this so...approach with caution. I'm much more afraid of actual weirdos but I have the worst luck so I would be the one that ends up with a demon doll as my bestie for life.

10.   The M Show- Three little girls apply to join the fan club for their favorite show and get something very different in return.

11.  DatingGame- A man goes speed dating and meets the woman of his dreams. Well, the woman of his dreams has a dark secret in her basement that’ll make him wish he had of stayed single. Definitely NSFW.

12.  TheNice Guy- A guy at work who enjoys his job meets his new boss who intends to break his spirits. If you love stories with a twist you’ll love this.

There you go! Just a few stories to help you procrastinate while you study for finals.
If you prefer to listen to stories, plenty of these are available on Youtube as dramatic readings.
