It’s officially time to get spooky, y’all.

Today, I’m bringing you a new collection of stories to chill your bones. Some of these stories were pulled from various parts of the internet, but most of them can be found on the YouTube channel, Snarled. If you’re a fan of all things weird and unusual, like myself, then definitely check out this channel. Many of these stories were featured in their segment “Something Scary,” so if you prefer to listen to stories and enjoy illustrations, then this is the playlist for you!

Now, turn off the lights and grab a blanket because it’s about to get scary in here.

Autopilot: Everyone has their routine, the things they do in order to start their day. Ever have those moments when you skip a step or something happens to throw everything off? Well in this story, you’ll find out just how much an interference can affect your day.

The Whistlers: This story comes from the Reddit No Sleep page. This story is compiled from the pages of a journal that was found in a camping backpack bought a yard sale. The journal was written by a young woman who went on adventure with a group of friends that went horribly wrong. It’s really long so if you prefer to listen to stories, you can find the narration on the No Sleep Podcast episode here.

Snow: This story comes from The Claverhouse Emails. It follows a man, stuck in a blizzard, that takes shelter in a small cottage. But there’s something that’s not quite right. Why was the front door already open? Who was here before him, and most importantly – what happened to them?

Mrs. Willison’s Homemade Jam: In this tale, we meet a young man who was a bit of a picky eater as a child. His parents had a hard time getting him to eat just about anything, until one day they discover a little old woman selling jam at the local market.

Wrong Way Charlie: You remember your first best friend? The little boy in this story definitely does. In this tale, a young boy becomes attached to a tiny kitten named Charlie who's constantly going the wrong way.

Pale Luna: This story is about a text adventure-type game titled “Pale Luna,” that sends you on a hell of an adventure.

Hachishakusama: “Hachishakusama” or “Eight Feet Tall,” is a Japanese urban legend about a tall woman who abducts children. Turns out some urban legends are more than just a story.

The Clown With Bloody Teeth: In this story, a girl finds out about this new haunted house that’s all the rage.

The Red Room: Kids, just stay away from the deep web.

The Peephole: This is the story about a girl who was left home alone for a little too long.

Alright kids, that concludes this collection of dark tales. In the mood for more? Check out some of the stories in parts 1-3 on my blog here, here and here.

Until next time.

It’s my favorite time of year so obviously, we have to celebrate by creeping things up here on my blog. To kick things off, we’re going to discuss a few more creepy tales found online. These stories will range from supernatural happenings to crazed stalkers and more. This is just the beginning of the many things I have planned leading up to Halloween. Now let’s get started.

I Found a Girl I Knew in a Porno (Trigger Warning) - This is the story about a girl that went missing who later shows up in a rather odd video online. After contacting the girl’s parents to inform them of what he found, things take a turn for the worst. If you’re sensitive to certain subject matters, proceed with caution.

Hunger (Trigger Warning) - In this tale, a psychologist has a meeting with a patient suffering from an eating disorder, but it’s not quite what it seems. Warning: It’s a bit gross so please read at your own risk.

The Girl in the Log (Trigger Warning) – A girl visiting her grandpa gets a strange warning from a dead girl she meets in the woods. Definitely not as gross as the last two but it still features sensitive topics.

He Crawled Up the Stairs- A young woman recalls the night a strange man broke into her house while she was alone. This literally confirmed every fear I’ve ever had about staying by myself.

I Used a Dating Site Once: Never Again- This one is a three-part series on NoSleep. It centers on a young woman, tired of being single, that decided to give online dating a try. The story takes the age-old warning of “being careful of who you talk to online” to a whole new level.

Borrasca- This is another series on NoSleep. It’s about a small town urban legend that turns out to be much more sinister and in typical horror fashion, none of the adults seem to believe in it. This story is one of the more fascinating finds on NoSleep, but it’s also incredibly long. It was featured on the last episode of the NoSleep Podcast so if you’re a fan of audio books you’ll enjoy this. It's also available in the iPhone podcast app.

Alright boils and ghouls, that’s it for this installment of creepy online tales. I have a lot more planned for the month of October so stay tuned. What are some of your favorite scary or unsettling stories?

Alright kids, it’s that time again, where I show you all some of my favorite creepy stories. These stories were all collected from the NoSleep Reddit page and the Creepy Pasta wiki, two of my favorite places to discover original and terrifying stories. So let’s dim the lights, grab your favorite blanket and gather round the campfire because here are ten more creepy tales for you to enjoy.

1.      The Disappearance of Ashley, Kansas. This is the story of how the entire town of Ashley, Kansas vanished, leaving nothing behind but a fissure of ash. The residents, the houses, everything- all gone without a trace. If you’re a fan of listening to stories, I recommend listening to the narration of this story on the NoSleep Podcast. It definitely adds an eerie feel.

2.      Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid. This is the story of a man trying to recall parts of his childhood after realizing that he has no recollection of anything from when he was younger. When asking his mother to help him remember, things take a turn for the worse. In this case, some things are definitely better off being forgotten.

3.      Mr. Wide Mouth. In this story, a young boy creates an imaginary friend to help him cope after experiencing a traumatic event. What starts out as something innocent soon becomes something a lot more sinister.

4.      A Story to Scare My Son. As a kid, my mom and aunt were huge fans of telling my cousins and I cautionary tales to scare us into behaving. Although many of the stories were scary, none of them were as scary as the story this father tells his son.

5.      Pete the Moonshiner. Please. Just read this. Very unsettling. Trigger warning.

6.      Room 733. Almost every campus has a creepy story that comes with it. For me, there was the haunted room at the end of my sorority floor, along with a haunted art building on campus. In this story, a girl learns that the dorm room next to hers is known as the “Suicide Room,” after have many students commit suicide after living in the room for a short time. Trigger warning for those sensitive to this subject.

7.      My Ex Wouldn’t Stop Texting Me. Sometimes a wrong number can be a life or death situation.

8.      630-296-7536. This story is even scarier after you realize the number in this tale actually works. Go ahead, give it a call.

9.      The Disappearance of Ashley Morgan. Not to be confused with the first story in this list. This is the story of a girl whose twin sister went missing when they were kids. Trigger warning.

10.  HowMy Family Got Through the Recession. How far would you go to provide for your family?

There you have it, ten more creepy stories to read tonight. If you have any creepy tales you’d like to share leave them in the comments.
Hello all!

Now, one of my favorite things to do is explore the internet for creepy things. I usually find myself doing this around 3 a.m. when I’m alone in my room and then I regret everything. One of my favorite places to find creepy things is on the tumblr account, Sixpenceee. This girl has everything to satisfy your creepy needs and I’m obsessed. Her blog has everything from creepy stories, how to summon the dead, short horror films and documentaries, creepy findings on the internet, world findings and psychology based things. It’s pretty awesome.

Today I’m going to share a few of my favorite creepy stories that I’ve found either on my own or from Sixpenceee. Some of them are Creepy Pastas, stories hailing from the Reddit sub-pages “No Sleep” and “Let’s Not Meet,” and more.

1.      The Soul Game- This story comes from a mother asking for help for her son who recently came home with a new friend. His new friend introduced him to The Soul Game, something that was very alarming to the mother. I was insanely paranoid after finishing this one.

2.      Dead Girlfriend Keeps Messaging Me, I have theScreenshots to Prove It- This one reminded me of old stories about the dead calling loved ones on the phone, which was both an episode of The Twilight Zone and a true event. This story took those old stories and brought it into the digital age with this guy’s dead girlfriend messaging him on Facebook. It’s an interesting read.

3.      Annie96 is typing…- This is an interactive story where it allows you to follow the instant messages between a girl and a guy while she’s home alone and sees a figure outside her window. There’s a bit of a twist in the end. I love interactive stories so if you do as well, you’ll enjoy this.

4.      Dr. Ramsey- This story comes from the Reddit subpage “Let’s Not Meet,” which has people recalling events of being stalked, creepy encounters with strangers and more. These types of stories are so much more terrifying than ghosts and ghouls because the world is full of crazies, Dr. Ramsey being one of them. Just…just read this.

5.      Besty The Doll- This is a story that really stayed with me after I read it. I don’t want to give anything away but it’s definitely worth a look. It was so much more than what I thought it was going to be.

6.      Candle Cove- This is one of my favorite Creepy Pastas. This is about a guy that goes to a message board trying to find out information on a rather creepy show he used to watch as a kid. After discussing the show they find an unsettling discovery.

7.      Stranger under the Bed- Y’all…this story freaked me out so bad that I literally have to check under my beds after I return my dorm. This is my worst fears come to life. It’s another Let’s Not Meet story.

8.      Roommate Wanted- Female Only. Nope. Nope. Nope. Always bring someone with you when answering ads.

9.      Hide and Seek with a Possessed Doll- Another favorite of mine. This is less of a story and more of a ritual on how to summon a demon to possess a doll and have it pursue you in a game of hide and seek. Some have reported weird things happening after performing this so...approach with caution. I'm much more afraid of actual weirdos but I have the worst luck so I would be the one that ends up with a demon doll as my bestie for life.

10.   The M Show- Three little girls apply to join the fan club for their favorite show and get something very different in return.

11.  DatingGame- A man goes speed dating and meets the woman of his dreams. Well, the woman of his dreams has a dark secret in her basement that’ll make him wish he had of stayed single. Definitely NSFW.

12.  TheNice Guy- A guy at work who enjoys his job meets his new boss who intends to break his spirits. If you love stories with a twist you’ll love this.

There you go! Just a few stories to help you procrastinate while you study for finals.
If you prefer to listen to stories, plenty of these are available on Youtube as dramatic readings.
