For me, February was all about treatin’ yo self. So, because of this I got to try a few new products this month and I treated myself to some much needed online retail therapy. Out of all the things I picked up in the month of February, I narrowed it down to my most used and beloved things. So here are my monthly favorites! Enjoy!

Beauty:
Revlon Brow Fantasy, Maybelline Gel Liner, Rimmel Provocalips, Rimmel Show-Off, Wet n Wild Mega Last Lipstick.

Night-Time Soothing Makeup Wipes- These makeup wipes from Equate are affordable and work really well. I have sensitive skin so many makeup wipes tend to irritate my eyes and the skin around them but these are gentle and get the job done. Plus, they smell amazing.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Rockin’ Curves Mascara- The cool thing about this mascara is the “broken heart” design of the brush. It makes it really easy to catch every lash and it provides great volume and length without clumps.

Rimmel Provocalips in Kiss Fatal- I’m so obsessed with this thing it’s insane. The two-step lip product makes sure your lip color does not budge until you want it to come off. This stayed all though class, lunch, dinner and cheerleading practice. The color is beautiful and comes off lighter than it does in the tube but it’s buildable. It’s comparable to the Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Lolita, another fave of mine.

Rimmel Show-Offs Matte Lip Color in Meteoric Matte- Yet another Rimmel product. I loved the original glossy formula of the Show-Offs but I was so glad when they came out with the matte version because I LOVE matte lips. The color goes on smooth and has great staying power.

Wet n Wild Mega Last Lipstick in Cherry Picking- I’ve talked about these lipsticks on here before so it’s no surprise that yet another is featured in a favorites post. The color is a bright magenta and it’s a nice creamy formula.

Revlon Brow Fantasy in Dark Brown- The pencil side goes on light to fill in brows so if you go in heavy handed it won’t look too overdone. The tinted gel holds the brows shape all day.

Nyx Cake Powder in Dark Brown- I reach for this over my Elf brow powder kit now. The darker powder fills in my brows perfectly without making them look too intense.

Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner- This is the best gel liner from the drugstore that I’ve ever tried. I’ve used it almost every day since I purchased it. It makes winged liner a breeze which is perfect for when I’m getting ready for class in a hurry.

Hair:
Garnier Fructis Leave-in Conditioner- Y’all, this stuff smells amazing and it makes your hair smooth and soft. You can apply it on damp or dry hair and it makes detangling a breeze. It’s a life saver.

Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Serum- I can’t enough good things about this product. It leaves my hair so soft and shiny; it’s my pride and joy. Go get you some.

Fashion:
Marley Lilly Monogrammed Pullover Sweatshirt- This keeps me warm and cozy when I have to brave the cold to go to class. It’s the perfect thing to throw on when you want to look cute and put together for class.

Kiss My Southern Sass tank- The original KMSS design. I’m so in love with these tanks I can’t wait to buy like five more. These things will become my life when the weather finally gets warmer. If you want to get your hands on one (which you totally should) you can use my code for a discount “MikaylaAnderson

Phi Mu Spirit Jersey from Carnation Collection- This jersey is so soft and comfy if I could wear it every day I would. It’s another great piece to have when you want something comfy to wear to class and still look cute as hell.

Books:

Dirty Rush by Taylor Bell- Y’all, if you haven’t already picked this up then you need to run out to Target or wherever and get it. Now. This book is a hilarious truth bomb of Greek Life and you need it in your life .

TV:

Parks and Recreations- Still crying.

Movies:
Snowpiercer- 1. Chris Evans. 2. Kick ass storyline. 3. It’s on Netflix.

All Cheerleaders Die- This horror/comedy is absolutely ridiculous in the best way.

Barefoot- This movie gave me so many feels, it’s also on Netflix. Go watch it if you’re in the mood for a romantic comedy with meaning.

Music:

Uma Thurman by Fall Out Boy- I’ve listened to this song on repeat. It makes me want to dance like Uma Thurman and its Fall Out Boy so it’s perfect.

Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars- If this song doesn’t make you want to get funky then don’t even talk to me.

So there you have it, those were all the things that warmed my heart in the month of February. Let me know what some of your faves were for this month.

Hey guys, I'm back! Here's a few of my favorite things from the month of August.
Things have been so hectic now that I'm back in school but bare with me and we'll get through this together.
If you see anything from here that you wanna give a try, make sure to check out my Luvocracy page titled "August Faves" and you can purchase anything you see here!

Clean & Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Gel Moisturizer: I've been a fan of the lotion version of the Morning Burst Morning Glow moisturizer but I think I love the gel formula even more. The gel goes on smooth and has a cooling cucumber scent that refreshes your skin. I also tend to have oily to combination skin and this doesn't feel thick on my face nor make my face feel greasy.

I've been a little brow crazy lately and here are a few of my go-to products to make sure my eyebrows are always on point.
Wet N Wild Brow Pencil in "Sable": This pencil is seriously affordable, it retails for about $2 in drugstores. I have dark brows so this help fill them in without making them really harsh.
Elf Brow Kit in "Medium": I've recently been trying out brow powders and found this gem at Target for $3. The left side is a gel that keeps brows in place and the right is a powder that fills in the brows and sets the gel. I apply this using the Elf Small Angled Brush, also $3 at Target.
I set my brows with the Wet N Wild Clear Brow Gel. Great, cheap gel that keeps brows in place all day. Gels are also perfect to take away some of the products, making brows look more natural.

Wet N Wild Color Icon Pallets in "Greed" and "Knock on Wood": These two pallets have bee what I've been reaching for almost every morning before class. These pallets have perfect shadows for a basic, everyday neutral eye. It features great matte shadows as well as a few shimmers, these are perfect to make me look wide awake in the morning for class even when I feel like going back to sleep. The greed pallet features some great dupes for Mac's "Carbon", "Soft Brown", and "Shroom." Shadows are very pigmented and go on smooth.

Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara: An oldie but a goodie from my collection. I had forgotten about this mascara and began reaching for him more and more. This has a great lengthening formula that applies fiber extensions on each lash to provide maximum length. Great for everyday use.

Rimmel Show Off Lip Laquer in "Apocalyptic": This thing is crazy pigmented. The doe-foot applicator features a indention in the middle that picks up extra product so you only need to dip it in once and you're good. It's really shiny so you can wear it like that or blot the shine off for a more matte look. Speaking of which, Rimmel is supposed to be launching a matte version of these in the U.S soon!

Next, Avon Mineral Lip Gloss in "Nude": For those days when I just want something simple yet still stunning, I grab this. Great formula, non-sticky and it gives my lips a nice nude shine.
Maybelline Color Vivid in "Shocking Coral": I'm in love with this color. It's the perfect pinky coral color. It provides any look with a nice pop of color. Goes on incredibly smooth and has build-able color.
L.A Colors Chunky Lip in "Teracotta": An affordable lip crayon. It's a dusty rose beige. Goes on smooth and has a nice sheen.

Eucerin Aquaphor: Perfect for those upcoming colder months. This is a great way to moisturize the lips to keep them smooth and soft and prevent chapped lips which are not fun. Available in drugstores.

Eye Shadow Pallet in "Bare": I came across this baby in Five Below about a year ago and this is an awesome pallet! The shadows are pigmented and has a nice mix of mattes and shimmers. Great for creating a bronze smokey eye. Comes with an eyeliner pencil. $5 at Five Below.

Pantene Daily Moisture Renew Shampoo and Conditioner: I'm in love with this. I'm a huge fan of moisturizing shampoos and conditioners and this provides moisture that makes my hair incredibly soft and clean, without drying my hair out. Smells amazing!

Book Favorite:

Paper Towns by John Green: John Green never ceases to make me feel so many emotions. I was a huge fan of The Fault in Our Stars and I've been dying to read this and I found it on sale for $5 at Marshalls! Great coming of age tale of boy named Quentin Jacobsen whose mundane life gets turned upside down when his neighbor Margo Roth Spiegelman climbs in his window. This is also set to become a feature film staring Nat Wolff.

Jewelry Fave:

Paradise in Pink Necklace from Paula and Chlo: I love a good statement piece and this necklace definitely makes a statement. It's colorful and fun and it's the perfect way to add a little something extra to any outfit.

Music Faves:
Shake It Off- Taylor Swift: This song is my new jam! I love Taylor Swift and this song was something different and fun and it showcases her personality perfectly.
Anaconda- Nicki Minaj: Y'all, if this song doesn't make you wanna dance I don't know what will.
Bang Bang- Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj: I blast this song while I'm in the car with my girls and It makes me feel so fierce.
All About That Bass; Meghan Trainor: This song is all about body positivity and I love it cause I'm here to tell ya "every inch of you in perfect from the bottom to the top."
Just One Yesterday- Fall Out Boy feat. Foxes: Fall Out Boy has been a favorite of mine since I was in middle school. If y'all haven't heard this song, I don't know what you're waiting for.
Casual Affair- Panic! At The Disco: Of course, I have a Panic! At The Disco song in my favorites. Without this song I would never get through getting ready in the mornings when I'm dragging along getting ready for class. Also, this song was AMAZING live, just saying.

Okay guys that was my August faves! Remember to check my luvocracy page to buy anything featured above!

Hello Lovlies,
I'm back with a mini beauty haul plus a few random favorites.
I've been in Virginia visiting with family so I've been a absent for a little while but I'm back! The July Style Spotlight will be up before the end of the month so stay tuned.
Now let's jump into the haul.

BEAUTY
Dove Hair Therapy Dry Shampoo: This stuff is amazing. It's perfect for those days when you just don't want to wash your hair. It does on white but goes away as you massage it in. It smells great. It retails for about $4.00 at drugstores.

Carmex Moisture Plus Lip Balm: This stuff is great. It helps my dry lips stay moisturized in the summer and winter. The packaging it cute so it immediately drew me in. Retails for about $2.00 at drugstores.

Wet N Wild Clear Brow and Lash gel: I was so glad I found this. I was in the market for a clear mascara and came across this one at Five Below for about $3.00. Just something to keep those brows in place.

City Color Intense Blush Quad: A random find from Five Below. It features four intensely bright blushes. The blushes are kind of pigmented so I would definitely have to use a light hand when applying. I have yet to try these out so I'll definitely let you know how they wear. Retails for about $4.00 at Five Below.

Wet N Wild Megalast Lipsticks in "Sugar Plum Fairy" and "In the Flesh": So. In. Love. These lipsticks have been favorites of mine for a while. I was searching for a nude lipstick that was more of a mauve-pinky nude instead of the peachy-pinky nude and came across "In the Flesh". It's like a "my lips, but better color." Next, "Sugar Plum Fairy" is a plum with pink undertones. The pink makes it a more wearable color. It comes off as darker in the tube but doesn't apply as dark ,it could definitely be built up to a darker plum though. Both are a matte finish. Retails for about $2.00.

Maybelline Color Vivid Lipstick in "Shocking Coral": This color is probably my new favorite shade for summer. It's a bright coral shade that has subtle pink undertones. It goes on smooth and has a satin-y finish. Retails for about $6.00.

FASHION
Bracelets: I love a good arm party and these bracelets were too good to pass up. The colors range from coral, mint, a darker blue, silver, gold, a bone shade. The feature small accents like a feather, an arrow and studs. Some of my favorite things. Both were about $5.00 from Walmart and Five Below.

Workout Tank: I came across this shirt at Walmart. Just a simple grey racer-back tank with pink around the back strap. It's so comfy and perfect for staying cool while working out on these hot summer days. I've been thinking of starting a fitness instagram page where I share fitness progress, workout routines, recipes and more. Let me know if you're interested or if you would like me to include more fitness here!

Headphones: SO in love with these. I needed a good pair of headphones that fit over the head to use while working out because my earbuds tend to slip out while running. These are super comfy to wear and are bright and fun. Retails for about $4.00 at Five Below.

So that's it for my haul, hope you guys enjoyed this. I'll try to get a back to school haul up next month and and possibly a high-end haul. As always, stay fab!
